Syberia 2 Walkthrough
Romansburg - Exploring the Station

Be sure to read the recap or watch the recap video before beginning this game! It's really important to understand the back story here.

OK, you're in Romansburg station. Your boss calls and you hang up on him. You have turned your back on your old life. As much as they meant to say "Kate Walker is Strong" by doing that, it's really rather wimpy for her to just hang up and not face talking to him! Why not speak up for herself and take a stand? No, she does the feeble female thing and refuses to face the issue. Blech.

OK, Oscar calls you - now he can talk via your cellphone. Cool. Go out of the train and right to meet Colonel Emiliot, who is the station master / storekeep here. He says this is the last town before tundra. He goes into the store - follow him. Note the 3 candy machines in the center of the room. Go over to the Colonel and chat some more.

Go out of the store and go north ("up"). You find a locked gate here, this is how you get down into the main town. Return to the store's door and go south. Go over to the coal hopper device and find it doesn't work. Talk to Malcha below. She says the people below are "low life". Now continue down the train to its locomotive and find Oscar. Have some meaningless conversations with him. You can spin the wheel and then pull the lever to wind up the train - but Oscar says you need coal before he'll go forward.

Go back into the train and go all the way to the end where Hans is. Chat with him. Note that by the exit of the train is a side door with a shower, which you can't use right now. You've now explored the entire upper level.
